MY BEST EVER
PUMPKIN PIE RECIPE
The holidays are just a few short weeks away. That being said, I felt it was appropriate to share with you my best pumpkin pie recipe. This is the recipe used by my father for many years.

Paradise Pumpkin Pie:
Ingredients Needed:
1 (8 oz.) Pkg. Cream Cheese
1/4 Cup of Sugar
1/2 Tsp. of Vanilla
1 Egg
1 (9 Inch) Unbaked Pastry Shell with High Edges
1 1/4 Cups of Canned Pumpkin
1/2 Cup of Sugar
1 Tsp. of Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp. of Ginger
1/4 Tsp. of Nutmeg
1 Cup of Evaporated Milk
2 Eggs, Slightly Beaten
- Maple Syrup for Garnishing
- Chopped Nuts for Garnishing
Instructions:
Step 1- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
Step 2- Combine softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup of sugar, and vanilla; mix until well blended.
Step 3- Add 1 (unbeaten) egg and mix well.
Step 4- Cover bottom of pastry shell with this mixture.
Step 5- Combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
Step 6- Carefully pour over cream cheese mixture.
Step 7- Bake at 350 degrees for 65-70 minutes, or until done.
Step 8- Brush top with maple syrup and garnish with nuts, if desired.
